100 koffieplant zaden.
Coffee arabica nana seeds. 100 pieces.
Soak the seeds for 24 hours in warm water at a temperature of 22-25 degrees. ( use a warm spot in your house like the heat from the back of a refrigerator)
Put the seeds 1cm in the soil. ( Use a rich, coco/peat-based potting soil that has good drainage.)
Keep them in a warm spot. Keep them moistly. Germination will take 5 till 8 weeks.
Light: Coffee prefer dappled sunlight or, when the sun is not strong, full sunlight. They are actually understory or marginal plants so do not like a lot of direct sunlight. Plants that are exposed to too much light will develop leaf-browning.
Temperature: Coffea needs min temp of 15 degrees. Prefers tropical temp.
Water: Coffee plants require both regular and enough water and high humidity. In their preferred growth habit, they grow on the sides of tropical mountains, where they get lots of rain and plenty of fog.
Use the plant sprayer!
Soil: A rich, peat-based potting soil that has good drainage is ok.
Fertilizer: Feed with a weak liquid fertilizer throughout the growing season. Cut fertilizer back to once a month or so in the winter.
The coffee tree will flower in the spring with small white flowers and then bear half-inch berries that gradually darken from green into blackish pods. Each of these fruits contains two seeds; these seeds are actually the coffee beans that are used to make the drink.
This will happen after 4 years.
